The place where people grow

Why is this a paying book club when most are free?

The reason for this is that many people read personal development books because they want to grow and progress and for most it’s hard to apply the learning’s to their life. By becoming a member it shows commitment and the reader is able to grow each month reading a variety of development books. It’s like going to the gym to achieve a certain goal, you wouldn’t just go for 1 or 2 months to gain a long term result. The idea behind membership is the longevity of power and thus success in your personal life. In addition to this, the book club is hosted by a qualified Coach who is committed to help you set clear goals and action points and this will give each member the accountability they need and the motivation from a small group setting to progress.

What if I can’t make a meeting?
That’s no problem, as long as you have read the chapters you can always send an email on;

a) your perception of what you have read
b) what you feel you want/need to take action on

This will be shared with the group (if you like) and any tools for action points will be sent to you via email so that you can stay on track.

Why are the meetings only 3 times per month and not each week?
There are several reasons; simply that life happens and members may need to plan something in on the scheduled book club day. This also gives the members a chance to reflect on their own progression and write a journal of their own success/change to date and to begin the changes in their everyday, life and work.

I need to know the dates of the meetings as I need to plan ahead
Please see the calender on the Meetings page or call for confirmation.

I’m still not sure if this is for me?

Why not try the 1 month trial for £20 and see how you go, or simply give me a call and have a chat.

I want to know the books we will be reading
Please see suggested Reading list-some books may be determined by a group decision.

What if I have read the book?

Good question; think about, did you get the most from the book? Are you applying the teachings to your life? Would it be useful to read again and have a chance to refresh and hear other people’s perspectives?

Most Personal development books are useful to read again, so don’t let this be a reason to not join, in fact make this a reason to join, you could also be adding value to the group!
